Also designed by Tom Brown, Jr., the TOPS Tom Brown T2 Tracker knife is a duplication of the original Tracker knife, but in a smaller and more lightweight configuration. The TOPS Tom Brown T2 Tracker knife is a good deal smaller than the original TOPS Tom Brown T1 Tracker knife with an almost 1 inch reduction in blade length and almost 2 inch reduction in overall length. The T2 Tracker Knife is also lighter in weight than the original T1 Tracker knife and uses a thinner steel than the original T1 Tracker knife (3/16" versus 1/4"). This reduction makes the knife a little easier to conceal and carry, although it's still a pretty good sized knife. The T2 Tracker knife can be carried and drawn the same way as the T1 Tracker knife (Scout style or Western Style). The T2 Tracker knife is still an all purpose knife perfectly adequate for use in outdoor survival situations and combat operations. Even though it's a bit smaller than it's big brother, the TOPS T2 Tracker knife still measures up just fine.
